The HP Proliant 1U model and the 2U model are rackmount servers, meaning that they’re a density line. Therefore, they allow the absolute most amount of computing power, and are ideal for visualization hosts, visualization clusters, web servers, and much more.

HP Proliant 4U

The 4U unit is the most powerful of all. It is also a rackmount server, and achieves all of the same benefits of the others, but with the most power. It’s more costly, so it’s ideal only for the businesses that need a server that is more powerful than average.

Tower Services

HP offers many tower servers which are blade line, and therefore take up the least amount of space. Whereas the power might be slightly lower, this may be irrelevant to a business that is occupying a small space to begin with.
